The company Schneider Leichtbau GmbH was founded in 1975 by Hans und Josef Schneider.

Since the company's foundation, Hans Schneider has acted in the capacity of joint Managing Director and Shareholder of the company with responsibility for commercial matters, sales and marketing.

Over this 30-year period, he has placed his unmistakable stamp on the company's sales performance, and has helped in many ways to shape the brand and product image of handling devices from Schneider world wide. He set whole new quality standards of product evaluation through unique selling propositions such as "High Clean Polish", which went on to become the accepted state of the art for material transport in today's Cleanroom oriented industry. Through a range of different marketing measures, coupled with enormous personal commitment, he has been instrumental in coining the brand term AluClean^® for aluminium pallets, a name which today has become internationally synonymous with top-quality aluminium and stainless- steel products from Schneider.

Hans Schneider has decided that the time has come for him to step down and take up the challenge of what will most certainly be a well-deserved retirement.

With effect from June 30th, 2005, Hans Schneider will be leaving the Management Board and the company Schneider Leichtbau GmbH.

He will to continue to place his extensive fund of experience and his wide-ranging customer contacts at the service of the company in an advisory capacity for some time to come.

We would like to take this opportunity of thanking Hans Schneider for his work of the past 30 years as Managing Director, Shareholder and Partner. Hans Schneider has indeed rendered an immeasurable service to this company.

Josef Schneider picks up, where Hans Schneider left off, as sole Share Holder and Director from 01st. July 2005.
