New feature from the weighing technology division
With immediate effect, SCHNEIDER LEICHTBAU is offering all its fork lift weigh trucks optionally with display units (indicators) from AVERY BERKEL or BIZERBA.
The most important benefit for potential customers is that they now have the option to select the most suitable weighing system for their specific requirement from the wide range of both these manufacturers.
Many customers will be pleased of the opportunity to use the same indicator make that they are already accustomed to. This means that there is no longer any need for operating staff to become familiarized with new operating systems.
This not only makes for more consistent operating capability, it also substantially simplifies data links.
It should also be mentioned that these two manufacturers, both renowned for their high standard of quality, naturally offer specific highlights which we will be pleased to explain to you.

Alongside the anodizing of aluminium, in which the natural protective oxide layer of the aluminium is reinforced, there are a number of other surface finishing techniques which deserve a mention: Painting, powder coating and finally mechanical processes.
The latter also includes the AluClean® Hygiene Polish process used by Schneider.
HIGH HYGIENE POLISH
With this patent-protected technique, the surface tension existing in the aluminium of pallet profiles is released and reduced. As a result, a surface roughness of appr. 1 micrometer is achieved, leaving the surface extremely smooth (even the welded seams are smoothed). The surface assumes a high-gloss finish and offers a number of extraordinary characteristics:
Microbacteria and dirt particles are unable to gain a hold on the pallet surface. AluClean® pallets are easy to keep clean, particularly hygienic and conform to GMP standards. They give rise to practically no maintenance costs. Aluminium pallets from Schneider Leichtbau retain their value.
The enormous success enjoyed by AluClean pallets in the marketplace allowed SChneider Leichtbau GmbH to commission a new polishing plant over recent months, opening up scope for substantial further optimization of this successful technology.
